Wastewater treatment solutions involve removing contaminants from mine water, or ground water that is extracted from mining activities. Mining wastewater not only contains heavy metal and mineral, but also is toxic because of mining process. This wastewater needs to be treated before discharged back to nature or underground water mining on mining sites.
Minetek has developed extensive capabilities in processing and evaporating this highly contaminated water with no pretreatment required for the evaporators.
With the capability to evaporate water with high levels of Total Dissolvable Solids (TDS) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and pH range as low as 1.8 and as high as 14, Minetek's water evaporation solutions offer versatility and a cost-effective solution to managing mine waste water.
