Oscar Loreti – Project Development Management out of Witbank, Mpumalanga

Minetek is pleased to announce Mr Oscar Loreti as a new member of the dynamic global Minetek team.

Oscar will join the team as the Minetek project development manager for Africa based in the Gauteng/Mpumalanga area. Oscar brings a wealth of experience in engineering and large project delivery throughout Africa.

Mr Loreti is a professional technologist engineer (Pr Tech Eng) and a qualified project manager.

Oscar has previously worked for Highveld Steel & Vanadium for many years in a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, he was the Group technical manager for Chemical Services Ltd and most recently from 2012 to 2016 was with BHP Billiton (BECSA) (now South32) as an engineer in the projects division with engineering manager role on development of major coal mines in the Mpumalanga area.

Oscar is a South African national who resides in Witbank and with his family. Witbank is the energy centre of South Africa and the focal point of Africa’s largest coalfields, power stations and steel manufacturing.

Minetek is looking forward to utilising Oscars skill set and experience to further support our clients in Africa and service our current operating systems.

Leading our Process team is Mr Daniel Couton.

AS a Ph.D. qualified Process and Environmental Chemist with more than 15 years experience in the heavy industry sector.
Daniels focus is on the implementation and troubleshooting of supplied solutions and management systems.

Assisting clients in developing strategies and system performance monitoring is another key characteristic of Daniels.
