Richard Prouse: Minetek’s Chief Operating Officer
Minetek’s COO Richard Prouse leads our Engineering and Project Delivery Team worldwide. His focus is set on the following points:
- Functional and Executional accountability of the Engineering and Product Definition division (EPD division)
- Client Relationship Management
- Corporate Diversification Initiatives
- Resourcing and Site Execution of Projects
- Development and implementation of in-house training for PD division to ensure standardisation
- Team leadership and management
- Project management and governance
- Contracts management, including tenders and procurement
- Guidance and management for mining Concept/Pre-feasibility/Feasibility studies
- Lead change management of business development
- Authorisation for Expenditure (AFE) and Business Case preparation for Medium and Major Projects
- Third-party project assessment and recovery planning
- Portfolio assessment and advice
Remy Bourcier: Head of Minetek’s Engineering Team
An engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of components for the heavy industry sector, involving QA and defect investigations, Remy manages the engineering of complex cross-disciplinary projects with a strong command of mechanical, structural, acoustics, vibration, and foundation engineering and Finite Element Analysis. Remy has written and presented many papers to national and international conferences and forums and has received positive peer and client recognition.
